This is to announce that the "House in Shimogamo" in Kyoto that we designed has won the above award. We take this opportunity to thank you for your continuing support to make such possible.

Chicago Athenaeum Architecture and Design Museum  is where"GOOD DESIGN" Award began in 1950 under the auspices of Aero Saarinen, Charles and Ray Eames, and Edgar Kaufmann, Jr. who was the curator of MOMA at the time.

Edward Suzuki Associates is happy to report that we have won 4 awards from the Museum during the last 5 years:

2007, International Architecture Award, "EDDI's House"

2009, International Architecture Award, "House like a Museum"

2010, International Architecture Award, "xevo EDDI"

「下鴨の家」

当鈴木エドワード建築設計事務所が手掛けました「下鴨の家」（京都・下鴨）が、このたび上記の賞を

受賞することができました。

皆様のご支援、ご協力のおかげと深く感謝致します。

「シカゴ・アテネウム・建築とデザインミュージアム」は世界にその後広がる「グッドデザイン賞」の「始祖」です。
　
1950年にエーロ・サーリネン、チャールズ&レイ・イームズ、そしてMOMAのキュレイターであったエドガー・カーフマン，　　
Jr．のもとでスタートしたこのプログラムを誇る、由緒あるミュージアムです。

鈴木事務所はうれしいことに、ここ５年の間、４回にわたって以下の賞をこのミュージアムから受賞しています：

　・2007 国際建築賞 「EDDI's House」

　・2009 国際建築賞 「美術館のような家」

　・2010 国際建築賞 「xevoEDDI」

　・2011 グリーン・グッドデザイン賞 「下鴨の家」

これを励みとし、今後ともさらなるよい仕事ができるよう、所員一同、全力を尽くしてまいります。
